"I first sought out Coldwell Athletic Therapy for help with my ongoing pain and mobility issues. Myles sat down with me and took the time to evaluate my whole history starting with even my first ever injury.
He took the time to research and evaluate every aspect of my condition and created an individualized treatment plan based around my scoliosis and hyper mobility.
The results have been life changing. He has made it possible for me to achieve things physically with strength and confidence, and most importantly pain free that I just could not have done before. Myles constantly evaluates and changes my program as required - his attention to detail is amazing. I can’t say enough good things about Myles. "
"I have seen many health professionals over my 12 years of dealing with chronic back pain. Thus, when I first saw Myles, I had my doubts that anybody could help me with my back pain. Myles really took his time to make a great assessment on my issues and tried to get to the root of my pain. He didn’t just treat my back, he treated my whole body. He found other parts of my body that were causing my pain such as my weak glute and rotated pelvis. He gave me exercises to treat these issues which lead to me having less back pain. Myles is very passionate about what he does and ‘fixing’ his clients issues. I highly recommend him to anyone who is having issues!"
" I sought out Myles shortly after my recent Olympic lifting competition in 2019. I was training 4 days a week (a decrease from my normal routine) at that time and was having some lower back pain with certain lifts that was hindering my performance. Myles took time to assess my problem, took a look at my lifting mechanics and came up with a good case on what was wrong. We came up with a plan that included specific stretches and exercises to activate the proper muscles. Even after my first session I felt like I had taken a step forward in my performance and noticed a reduction in pain. I am excited to take what I have learned and use it to get back into my regular training routine. He came highly recommended and I will be back for more sessions in the future! Thanks Myles!"
"Myles is amazing! I was experiencing chronic pain and limited mobility in my SI joint for almost 7 months, with no success from other treatments. After 2 sessions with Myles I started to notice an increase in my mobility and decrease in the amount of pain and discomfort I was experiencing. Throughout my treatments Myles was continuously adjusting and re-assessing my plan depending on my level of progress. The result is that I no longer am experiencing issues with my SI joint and have follow up exercises/stretches to support my health. Myles has chosen his profession well, which is evident by the amount of passion and knowledge he brought to each session. Thank you Myles."
"During our first appointment Myles took the time to explain the purpose of each part of the evaluation, what he was looking for and what could be ruled out. He clearly mapped out our path forward and what we needed to do together, to eliminate my back pain, once and for all. Very easy to talk to and very good at explaining the technical workings of the affected areas."
"Myles was very thorough in describing why I was having the issues I had and worked to provide immediate relief as well as providing exercises that I can do at home to help strengthen and prevent the issues from reoccurring. I gained mobility back in areas that I struggled with for some time now, and now I'm working on continuing to strengthen them and get even better! I highly recommend Coldwell Athletic Therapy to everyone! "
“Myles provides professional, academically sound therapy. He is knowledgeable about the kinetics of the human body, and incorporates numerous techniques into his approach of care. I saw numerous practitioners, ranging from Physiotherapists, Chiropractors and Massage therapists; my greatest benefit came quickly when I saw Myles.”
“His interest in your history, the visual testing, as well as physical testing speaks to his knowledge. While the therapy itself is sometimes uncomfortable, this was a pleasant pain, and resulted in overall benefit. I highly recommend his service and therapy.”
"20 years ago I was diagnosed with MS. I was young, relatively healthy and very active and it seemed to have minimal impact on my life. Today I am still very active, with Taekwon-do, baseball, bootcamp classes as well as being a volunteer firefighter, it is very important for me to take care of my body and my mind. Two years ago I began feeling stiff with minor pain in my hips and knees. I visited chiropractors, physio therapists, acupuncture etc but each just seemed to be a bandaid, with the pain and discomfort becoming increasingly worse. The pain was so bad that mentally it was getting harder to deal with. I was having trouble walking if I sat for long periods of time and my knees hurt so bad walking up stairs that I would avoid them if I could, and I am normally someone who chooses stairs over anything else. When a new fitness program started in my area I was excited but apprehensive due to my increasing pain. That is where I was introduced to Myles Coldwell. Within 3 weeks of working with Myles I could walk up stairs pain free and my hips were only bothering me after strenuous workouts or extended periods of inactivity. Myles managed to accomplish in 3 weeks what 2 years of various therapists could not. Living with a disease such as MS is always a different journey for everyone and I am SO happy to have Myles for mine. I can not express how grateful I am for all he has done for me. His extensive knowledge, compassion for people and determination to help people are priceless and I look forward to continuing our journey."
"Earlier this year I was diagnosed with achilles tendinitis. I suffered from severe pain and could barely walk. I run and work out 3-6 times a week and it was a real struggle. I had this goose egg size swelling attached to my achilles. I am almost 57 and always had the urge to ‘move’. Not moving and exercising was not an option! I started working with Myles in late June. His understanding of the human anatomy and his ability to develop a plan for my recovery has made a dramatic difference in becoming pain free again. Just after a few weeks I am running 10K 4-6 times a week again. My experience working with Myles has been amazing! I highly recommend Myles for anyone!"
